Know your market. Own the moment.

Setting price, or seeing the market.

Pricefx is enterprise price management: modelling, optimization, margin analysis, and governance across the full price lifecycle, owned by pricing, finance, and sales operations. It is not a competitive monitoring or shelf tool, and it does not go and collect what your competitors charge. ShopVision does exactly that, matched product by product across retailers and marketplaces, alongside assortment, promotions, advertising, and MAP compliance. A price optimization engine is only as good as the market data feeding it.

These are the questions we hear most often from teams comparing ShopVision and Pricefx.

Are ShopVision and Pricefx competitors?

No. Pricefx is price management and optimization software. ShopVision is competitive market intelligence. Pricefx helps you decide what to charge. ShopVision tells you what everyone else is charging.

Does Pricefx collect competitor prices?

It can consume competitive price data as an input to its models, but it is not a competitive monitoring or shelf tool and does not gather that data from the market itself. That collection is a separate job.

Does ShopVision set or change our prices?

No. ShopVision does not do repricing, price governance, or margin modelling. It tells you what changed in the market, why it matters, and what the move is. The decision and the execution stay with your team or your pricing platform.

What is digital shelf intelligence?

It is how ShopVision protects your price everywhere you sell online. Price integrity has two sides: what competitors charge and what your resellers hold. ShopVision tracks both on one dataset, matched to your products down to the variant, so pricing and wholesale teams catch competitor moves and MAP violations the day they happen.

Can they work together?

That is the natural setup. ShopVision supplies matched competitive price and promotion data, and the optimization platform uses it. Data exports and an API are available, along with an MCP connector for AI workspaces.

We are evaluating both. Which comes first?

Usually the data. An optimization programme without reliable competitive inputs optimizes against assumptions. ShopVision can be in place in weeks, where a full price management implementation is a longer programme.

How does pricing compare?

Pricefx is a substantial enterprise commitment quoted by scope. ShopVision publishes its pricing and sells Pricing Intelligence standalone from a stated entry point, with a six-month minimum term.

Can we run ShopVision alongside our current tool?

Yes. Run the Side-by-Side. Keep your current tool on while we set you up. We build your tracking set from your own lists, so there is nothing to migrate, and most teams are running within a week of kickoff. Turn the old tool off once you have seen what each one finds.
